Raptors Add Jared Rhoden on 10-Day Deal from Raptors 905
The Toronto Raptors have officially signed Jared Rhoden to a 10-day contract, bringing him up from their G League affiliate, Raptors 905.
The 25-year-old guard has been impressive this season, averaging 15.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.1 steals in 18 games with the Raptors 905. He has also been highly efficient, shooting 50.7% from the field and 41.9% from three-point range.
Standing at 6-foot-5 and 210 pounds, Rhoden initially joined the Raptors in training camp on an Exhibit-10 deal before being waived with the intention of joining the 905. However, he was later claimed and signed to a two-way contract by the Charlotte Hornets, where he appeared in four NBA games and two games with the Greensboro Swarm.
Rhoden also spent time with the Detroit Pistons, where he played 31 games on a two-way contract, giving him NBA career averages of 3.8 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 0.6 assists across 35 total games.
A Seton Hall product, Rhoden had a standout collegiate career, averaging 15.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.2 steals in his senior season (2021-2022), earning him All-Big East First Team honors.
With the Raptors 905, Rhoden has shown his ability to play on or off the ball, defend top scorers, and contribute as a secondary ball-handler. His versatility makes him a strong addition to the Raptors as they continue their 2024-25 season.
